Our first Autumn here in our home in Selby back in 2010 was a wonderful surprise. We just had no idea what it would be like. Our front fence is a mustard yellow and it blends beautifully with the Autumn colours. I was told, early in our time here, by a neighbour, that our home is known as the Autumn place. I can understand why.
Some recent images from our garden below. I love seeing the Amanita Muscaria (red mushrooms) as they grow and do get obsessed about them. This year some have been disappearing and I’ve been trying to find the culprit via a wildlife camera but not been successful yet – seems to happen without the camera activating, although it does record a fox, wallaby, rabbits, etc wandering through and birds here and there. Maybe it’s the wallaby but who knows? I think there have been well over 60 of these mushrooms this year. And the birds have been loving our fig tree too – plenty for them and us.
The photos are awesome Kathie. Especially the red mushrooms, I can really imagine a little fairy peeping out lol They look so special.
Thanks Irene, I have had smurfs there in the past too, lol.
