I went to a business breakfast last Tuesday and across the road was a lake. I sat and watched the mist rising from the lake and hoped some would still be there after the meeting had finished. Of course my camera was with me!

Karkarook Park
There’s a small jetty which is a popular spot for fishing.
Reeds by the lake at Karkarook Park
A visit to Karkarook Park
I had an hour to spare on Saturday evening, just before the light faded so spent some time at Karkarook Park, Victoria. The next few days are shots from that park.

Awesome photos
I look at these photos and realise I have a long way to go yet. This was sent to me last week and I loved their simplicity and beauty. Click on the link and be prepared to enjoy the visuals about to open before your eyes. Amazing stuff!

Kookaburra in the garden
Not the best of shots as it’s hard to focus on something you can only vaguely see but I had saved some beef strips for the kookaburras and one of them is venturing closer to me whenever I throw some out. So here it is looking at a strip on the lawn and then another…
Daily Walk
One day last week I trod a different path to the one I usually tread. This one is around the corner from my home and goes down into a valley and then back up a hill again. Good exercise for someone who doesn’t walk a lot of hills!
Daily Walk
One day I went for a walk at Lysterfield Lake Park which is not far from where we live. I ventured down to the beach by the lake and as I walked near the bushes I heard a rustling and 3 kangaroos hopped out and bounded down along the beach. Here are some shots from…
