2018 Calendar orders open

I can’t believe that 2017 has just over 3 months to go! Where has that time gone? It kind of crept up on me but I now have my act together and the 2018 calendar is at the printers right at this very moment. Each image is on an A4 landscape page with a boxed calendar month under it – so A3 to an opening. It depicts images from around the Dandenong Ranges and would be a great gift for loved ones who don’t live in the area but also equally for those who are lucky enough to live here. Special dates have been included, such as the Puffing Billy Race and the Tulip Festival, amongst others. The calendar will retail for $19.95AUD plus postage once it’s available for sending out, but I do have open a pre-order offer of $16.95AUD which includes local postage. Overseas postage will be a bit more. Why not place an order today?

2017 Calendar ready for orders

I’ve received the advance proof of next year’s calendar in the post today. It’s looking good! And the images are all ones that readers have chosen to be in the calendar.  Cost of calendar is $19.95 plus postage.  Australia, New Zealand, Asia and the rest of the world – happy to post copies wherever. Copies will be posted out around mid August but taking orders now. Click on the image to place your order.

If you are a business who would like to stock these calendars for sale to your customers, please do contact me for wholesale rates.

Sunrise over Mt Dandenong

I was photographing an event one morning this week and when I looked out the window the sun was just peeking over the distant hills. I love the hint of rays in the shot too. This is looking toward Mt Dandenong, Victoria.

The quote is something the guest speaker said that morning and I figured sunrise shows it’s the start of a new day.

2016 Calendar now available

The calendar is now available for 2016. Featuring images from around the Dandenong Ranges, including the Puffing Billy, Birdsland Reserve, Alfred Nicholas Gardens and other popular sights.  Retailing for $19.95AUD plus postage. Click here to place your order.

Sharing a love of postcards

I have been writing blogposts but not in my usual category. I’ve created a new one called Postcards and it is linked in the menu of my site.  So it won’t be going out through my normal email feed.

For almost a year now I’ve been a member of Postcrossing.net and enjoying receiving postcards from all over the world, as well as sending them. I’m teaching others about our country and I’m learning lots about other countries.  If you’re interested in seeing the cards I’ve received, and some that I’ve sent, why not check out that menu item Postcards to see. Make sure you pop back now and then. I have a year’s worth (almost) of cards to pop up on the site and it’s going to take me awhile to get them up there, then I’ll have to keep it updated.

In the meantime, here is one I’ve sent overseas to a small number of people. A very iconic image from our area, don’t you think?
