A rider from Castlemaine MTB

Troy Bailey is probably one of the more well known riders at these races. We see him every time we are at one. Below are some photos of him in action.

I still cannot get over how easily you took to photography, this is fantastic Kathie!

Great shooting, really crisp & clear. Good work my friend, nicely done 🙂

  2. One thing that always impresses me about these bike riders in how well built they are. Their body fat seems to be 0–maybe I should take up bike riding 🙂

  3. Actually many don’t start out looking like that Beverly but over time they do. You should see some of the photos I have connected at the MTB Racing link at the top of this blog – there you’ll see men and women of all shapes and sizes racing.

  4. These shots are exceptional. What kind of camera and lens did you use?

  5. Excellent! I loved the action and how you captured the movement of the cyclists. Keep up the great work.

  6. Thanks everyone. Rosie, I use a Nikon D90 with 55-200mm lens. Planning on getting a 400mm in the not too distant future but the 200 works well for the MTB shots.

Ray, I appreciate you dropping by and encouraging this photographer!
