I took this photo recently, while visiting this beautiful parkland, with my photography club, Hills Photographic Society. I nearly always carry my long lens, 200-500mm, for those close up birding shots, and in hope of seeing the eagles above, but it also means that I don’t usually get many wide shots – unless taken on my Samsung S10 5G phone – which does take amazing photos. Like the one below. I hadn’t checked it when I got home and it was a few days later that I checked my phone images and was amazed what what I saw. Not only that, I’ve been amazed with the interest by the local Hills & Dandenong Facebook group. Over 700 likes and counting at the time of writing this post. I think this shot has to be a contender for my next calendar – don’t you think? I’m currently seeking to get it made into a jigsaw puzzle as well – for sale online and via the Kallista Market when it opens up in September.
