Did I mention it was windy when we went. As we headed towards the beach, this is what we could see in the air. Naturally I was keen to get close to the shore to see the action.

Went on my weekly walk with friend Ros to Lysterfield Lake Park. When we arrrived I could see mist rising from the lake above the trees. Once we got down to the lake, this is what greeted my eyes.

While this site is about the Dandenong Ranges and Nature in general, Kathie’s main passion is birds and she is an ethical birder. She takes photos of wild birds without baiting with calls, and avoids using flash photography.
