I discovered a bee I’d not seen before. This is the blue banded bee and it’s enjoying the red and white Salvia in the garden

We have a wisteria hanging over the pergola in the garden and it’s just coming out in flower.

This is a white oleander. Not grown a great deal in gardens these days because their leaves are regarded as poisonous however our garden has two in it and they do look pretty when in flower.

Two Firetails together
Thought this was cute – two little red-browed firetails sitting on the wire fence together, just surveying their surroundings.
