You might not be able to see how wet it was underfoot but you might get some idea from these shots. I had to keep watching where I trod as it was slippery as well.

Maa, our sheep
The shearer has been and Maa is now without her woolly coat, although we felt sorry for her as Summer has been slow to arrive this year and it’s still quite cool and wet. She’s been suffering from arthritis though so I guess the extra weight taken off is a blessing for her.
