Leaf lit inside
I could see this leaf on the table outside through our loungeroom window so went for closer inspection. It looks like it’s lit up from inside doesn’t it? It was simply how the sun was reaching through it from the other side.

The Cockatoo in the tree
Our house has been bombarded with the nuts from the Liquidamber tree as the cockies throw them down onto the roof. It was easy to think someone was deliberately throwing things on the roof – perhaps they were 🙂
Group photo
It’s not often I use a tripod but when taking portraits or group images, especially if I’m supposed to be in the shot, the tripod, coupled with the timer, is a must. In this shot I’m in the second row from the front, far left. It was funny hearing the group yelling at me to…
