We’ve had a lot of rain this year, not just through Winter but also Spring. In fact, it’s the wettest it’s been since 1992, which was our first year in Melbourne. We’d wondered what we’d done, shifting to such a wet state. We weren’t to know Melbourne was about to suffer a drought, a long-lived one that got broken with this year’s rain.
Working in the garden on the weekend doing some badly needed weeding, I discovered a small clump of miniscule red mushrooms – very, very tiny. I had to get my macro lens out to get shots of these.
