Rainbow Lorikeets are only one breed of bird that visits the Fig tree, there are others too. But these are so beautifully coloured and really stand out.

While this site is about the Dandenong Ranges and Nature in general, Kathie’s main passion is birds and she is an ethical birder. She takes photos of wild birds without baiting with calls, and avoids using flash photography.
