I’ve been taking a break this past week since my daughter’s wedding so haven’t been out every day taking photos. shock, horror! I’ve been enjoying lazy lie-ins (well, 8am or 8.30am is a lie-in for me) and doing stuff around the house – things I’d been meaning to do for a long time. It’s felt good to be out of my normal routine, even if it means missing a few days taking photos as well. The image below was taken on the day I went on a walk with my brother-in-law at Lysterfield Park. This Eastern Yellow Robin led us down the pathway we were walking. I find that the robins do that. They don’t fly away – they just fly ahead, stop, wait and when I’m almost caught up, fly a bit further along the path again. It’s almost like we’re playing a game. It is a cute bird don’t you think?
Great shot. Really good balancing.
