If you’re like me, you enjoy photography challenges. Getting the best bird shot, getting the best flower shot, getting the best insect shot. And you like to experiment with different styles. Or, perhaps you don’t, but maybe you are open to the idea?
Nearly 4 years ago I joined Gurushots, as I was told that I might do well in it. My photography has improved heaps in the past 3+ years but I do feel I’ve been on quite the learning curve. Trying styles I’ve never done before (like Still Life Photography). It does promote itself as the world’s greatest photography game, and I’m thinking they’re probably right. I’ve tried others but this one draws me back to it constantly – it is kind of addictive 🙂
You may find you climb the ranks quickly – I climbed to Master quite quickly, but did take some time to get to Guru level (I’m currently Guru IV). And you are competing with people from all over the world. There are challenges for Newbies, just to get you started as you learn how it works and work your way up. But you are free to join any challenge, except those that are of a ‘level’ that you’re not currently at.
Why not check it out? Click on the image below to get started. And for doing so, you’ll get some free tools (yes, there are tools you can purchase, but you can also earn them through completing challenges). Let me know if you decide to join and I’ll follow you!
I’m going to join this group. I am a semi beginner and don’t have one particular genre that l am interested in. I do take pictures of birds, sunsets, landscape and architecture. I have been lucky enough to have a few of my pics featured in “ l love Victoria” in the Herald Sun.
I don’t have a website bit am known as 12Mckay58 on Instagram.
