Well, winter has arrived here in Victoria, but then you probably already knew that from other comments made over the past month or two. Anyway, we had the most spectacular week last week. Cold but not windy and wet. Made for some awesome mornings as the sun rose. This shot is literally just outside our gate, across the road from us. I could see it developing from my office window and went outside to witness the changing image as the sun rose up.
I posted this at Flickr and someone asked me if I’d photoshopped it. I expect they meant had I doctored the image? My answer was that I had brightened slightly and sharpened a bit. Nothing else. The rays are real and looks like this on the camera too.
