More autumn colours in Victoria, Australia.

I went back to Lysterfield Lake Park on Saturday and the weather was gorgeous. I was there just after 8am and spent a couple of hours wandering around, enjoying the scenery and came across some of the wildlife too. The next few days I’ll be sharing these images with you.

This is my last post in this series, although I did take a few hundred photos. I hope this has given you some insight into what was experienced in the month of February 2009, in Victoria, Australia.

Kathie Thomas has a Diploma in Photography (Professional Photography) and has won many local competitions and awards for her nature photography. She has twice been Commended in Australia Photography’s Nature Photographer of the Year competitions.

While this site is about the Dandenong Ranges and Nature in general, Kathie’s main passion is birds and she is an ethical birder. She takes photos of wild birds without baiting with calls, and avoids using flash photography.
