This bee was in the Broom flower and totally laden with pollen. I’ve never seen a bee so yellow before 🙂

Spring flowers
The flowers are starting to show abundantly in our garden now, with the mix of Spring rains and sunshine. The garden looked drab throughout winter but has sprung to life again and has lots of colour. This is just a small selection – a beautifully rich dark purple Iris and white Lilies.
Small daisies in the lawn
With more sunshine now we’re getting lots of these small flowers popping up in the lawn. They look really lovely. Pity the lawn really needs cutting but they seem to pop up quickly again afterwards.
Wattle Blossom
As winter begins to fade and spring is emerging the wattle blossom is very prevalent all over the countryside, with its bright yellow showing up quite clearly between the greens and greys of the hillsides.
Dew drop
This delicate azalea had many dew drops on it one morning. Looked gorgeous in the morning sun. I particularly liked the one drop getting ready to leave the flower.
