With Spring come the birds again. Many of the birds we’re now seeing disappeared around Winter and now they’re back in our garden.

Crimson Rosella
Saw this bird while on a photowalk with the club I belong to. There was something of interest in the hole in the tree and it kept sticking its head in.
Good catch!
I was out walking one lunchtime last week and noticed a Kookaburra fly down from a power line and it was jumping and darting amongst the leaves and dirt on the ground. When its head came up I spied a small lizard in its beak.
Speckled body
This is a kookaburra just launching off our plum tree. I hadn’t realised what kind of pattern might be under their wings and on their body.

I heard these birds squawking overhead and was fortunate to capture 3 of the 4 in one frame. It was a beautiful day on the day this was taken.
