These guys are huge and very muscly and in this pic you can get an idea of just how strong his muscles are. He was content to watch us (my walking partner and me) and he struck an impressive pose for me.

The Swamp Wallaby
Been wanting to get a decent photo of these little guys for sometime. They are usually only seen on their own and they’re very shy and usually take off as soon as they see a human. However this guy remained inquisitive enough to allow me to get a couple of shots of him.
Kangaroos at Lysterfield
I’ve begun walking each week with a new friend at Lysterfield Lake Park, in the early morning. The roos are plentiful at that hour and because no-one else is around they haven’t gone off to hide. Here we can see a couple of mums with their joeys. Bathtime On the run

Of course the Kangaroos and birds aren’t the only thing you see at the park. There is a lake too. It was early morning and the lake was very still when we were there.

And there were quite a few of these around the park too. They move extremely fast so it’s hard to get a good close clear shot of them. This one will have to do.
