Hole in the fence illusion

I had to look twice to check that the fence didn’t have a hole in it. Amazing how sun and shadows can play tricks on your eyes.

I need to identify this flower – there are about 3 bushes just coming out in bloom. Pretty, pale pink, fragile looking flower.

Watching for worms

With all the rain we’ve had, even during what is supposed to be summer, we’ve had the kookaburras in our gum trees waiting and watching for worms, their favourite pasttime.

Grevillea and raindrops

This grevillea is peaking through our picket fence to the outside world and was covered in raindrops when I saw it recently.
