Many know that I walk regularly at Birdsland – just love the fresh mornings, the fresh air, the bird calls, the solitude. Later in the day the number of walkers increase, but first thing in the morning there are a few regulars, and occasional others, enjoying the place and the early morning start. I can’t think of a better way to start the day, than walking this space as the sun rises and graces us all with a brand new day. Here are some shots I took while it was only 3C when I started out. Was glad for my jackets and fingerless gloves. I did have to use my phone for some shots as I had my long lens which wouldn’t provide the wide shots really needed for such a stunning morning – clear blue sky and the winter’s sun.
