At least that’s the title the Star Mail gave it recently. I was delighted to see the story in the local paper about my new book, Words on Birds. And even more delighted with the response the book has been getting. I’ve now had more stock delivered because the book has been so popular – you can place your order on the link above, or order direct from Amazon.com.au for the book. Or, if you’re local to this area, it is also available at Belgrave Book Barn.
I’ve had teachers asking about the book – it hadn’t occurred to me, when I was writing it, that it might be something schools could be interested in but will certainly look into this. And the stories I’ve been getting back from people has been really lovely. I’ve been told the children are really enjoying it and take it outside with them and on walks. Another lady told me that she’s discovered ‘two new birds’ on her property because of the book. I really do enjoy our local bird life and it’s so nice to share it with others. If you’ve bought a copy I’d love to hear what your thoughts are too.
