As Autumn is drawing to a close and winter is nearly upon us, the garden is starting to look bare with leaves scattered all over the ground and the trees looking bare. This dahlia was in full bloom recently though and looking very beautiful.

The Lake at the Gardens
There were a few photographers around the lake at the gardens and the view was lovely.

This was the view of the Yarra Ranges from the gardens. Graham told me that you could see Donna Buang, Mt St Leonard and other mountains – he’d been reading a plaque at the gardens which I’d missed seeing.
