I hope you’ve been enjoying my MTB photos of this past week. I’ve enjoyed going along with my husband to his races as it means a weekend away for me and until this year I spent my time tracking the team laptimes, looking after their food supplies and the tent and first aid kit, and I spent a lot of time writing, having published 2 books in the past 2 years.
But this year, with my new camera I’ve felt the urge to go out on the race track and record the excitement of the races. I used to use my Kodak Easyshare point’n’shoot camera and just record the team (Team Sally) but now I’m taking photos of all of the race resulting in many hundreds of photos. And in that process I’m currently researching options for making the photos available both digitally and in print form here in Australia. I know there are services available overseas such as SmugMug which really appeal but the cost of postage for my clients here in Australia doesn’t. I’m currently exploring RedBubble which is probably the closest to what I’m looking for currently but I do hope to report that I’ve found a service that will do digital and print delivery for photographers here in Australia. I’ll let you know how my search goes!
In the meantime, you might like to explore my RedBubble account linked below. And if you have experience as a photographer selling your images online I’d love to hear about it!
