I love the look of the Australian gum trees. They’re often very tall and straight, and other times they seem to twist and turn and develop a character all their own. There’s something very special about the way the look and I love it. I took these shots yesterday, trying out my ‘new’ D60 camera body which I recently purchased so I wouldn’t have to keep changing lenses when out on photo walks all the time. These were taken at Selby Conservation Reserve which isn’t far from my home.
I think this first shot would make a great painting and canvas print, don’t you? And possibly the second one too. Very tempted to do something about them. I wonder if they would sell if I did?
