Found this growing on a burnt tree. I find it amazing that life can grow from something that is dead and thought it quite a contrast for this photo.

While this site is about the Dandenong Ranges and Nature in general, Kathie’s main passion is birds and she is an ethical birder. She takes photos of wild birds without baiting with calls, and avoids using flash photography.
