Our house has been bombarded with the nuts from the Liquidamber tree as the cockies throw them down onto the roof. It was easy to think someone was deliberately throwing things on the roof – perhaps they were 🙂

We have Sweetgums (Liquidamber) trees surrounding our house. I’m sure glad we don’t have cockatoos as well.
It’s such a beautiful sight to see groups of cockatoo chewing on gumballs behind the leaves of the liquidambar trees!
