The colour purple

Flowering gum with a touch of purple in its midst from another bush. Just caught my eye…

Yes, the flowering gums are very pretty. They have a variety of colours, white, pink, orange, red. I don’t know what the purple flower is – I’ve seen a few bushes with that around and just thought it stood out, peaking through like that.
