I mentioned yesterday how I love going over to her place to take photos of her garden. I surprised her at Christmas by presenting her with a calendar called Trudi’s Garden but I don’t think it was till she got to the March photo that it dawned her that it was truly her garden. The photo on that page was of one of her sculptures in the garden – she has been a sculptress for years and has statues, bird baths and all sorts of things dotted throughout her property. I loved watching her face (and the tears) as she went through the calendar for the first time.
This is one of her Salvia, a beautiful deep purple in colour.
