It’s a year today that I started writing this particular blog. I did have a photoblog at Blogger but decided to get more serious with it and set one up on my own server using WordPress. It’s gone through many looks since those days and I’ve improved with my photography as well.
I’d love you to tell me which post you’ve enjoyed most and what you liked about it. I have a prize to give away – a photobook compiled of some of my best shots taken over the past year. Mainly Australiana photography with a few from my trip in Canada June 2009.
Just leave your comment below to be eligible for the draw. I’ll be in touch with the winner separately for their mailing address. And yes, that means all entries are eligible, irrespective of the country.
I love “Pelican” for its incredible detail in the photograph and the expressiveness in the pelican’s face
To pick a winner is very difficult. There were so many wonderful ones but if I most I cast my vote for the flowers, all of them were vivid and popped right off the screen and made me think I could almost touch and smell them.
I have to admit that the Kookaburras have triggered the most conversations in our home. Being in the United States we don’t see many of them here.
We did a VBS program several years back called “Adventures in Outback Odyssey” and one of the songs was about a kookaburra. We all burst into song when we see the pictures.

Thank you so much for sharing your growth as a photographer with us.
My favourite would have to be the Loopy Caterpillar, it is so unusual and intriguing! http://kathiesphotos.com/2010/01/05/loopy-caterpillar-iii/
