We went to a friend’s place for dinner last night, along with some other friends, and sat on the outside deck enjoying our meal. As we sat there more guests arrived for dinner and I was delighted to get shots of them. In these shots is a Common Bronzewing (quite a large bird) and a Rainbow Lorikeet, very colourful don’t you think?
A photo of a blue banded bee I took led me to a path of discovery. I began researching to find out what kind of bee it was. I've actually learnt lots of things since that day and can now name almost every bird in this region and identify it by its call too.
