Lemur

Posted on September 25, 2012September 23, 2012

Lemurs are a clade of strepsirrhine primates endemic to the island of Madagascar, so I’ve read online. The word “lemur” derives from the word lemures from Roman mythology. I think they’ve very cute and look almost cuddly. They have such long tails. This one was aware I was there and happily posed for me before going on with its business for the day, of cleaning its tail.
