Australian section at the Melbourne Zoo

Posted on September 23, 2012

As promised I’ll be sharing images from my visit to the Melbourne Zoo last Thursday. It really was a lovely day for it and I am happy I made the trip.  Today I’ll share images from the Australian section, which includes Koalas, Wallabies, Emus, Wallabies, Echidnas and other animals. I didn’t take photos of everything there but here’s a small selection for you to see. The sculpture at the bottom I have no idea what it’s about but it looks like something you’d see in the outback. The image of the snake – it’s not real, it’s a sculpture embedded on a tree but looks pretty authentic.
