After the Bushfires in Victoria

The glass from the windscreens in vehicles melted over the steering wheels and bodies of the cars and trucks.

Everything inside this shed got cooked from the intense heat, including this ride on mower.

I found this tap lying on the ground when walking through a property.  The heat that made this bend over like that would have been tremendous.

After the Bushfires in Victoria

I was recently privileged to participate in a photo tour of one of the bushfire regions in Victoria.   8 weeks have now passed since that awful day in February when many people perished and thousands lost their homes.

The places I visited did not have any loss of life but there was loss of property. I can’t even begin to imagine what these people went through.

The images for the next few days are from this region in Victoria just off the Maroondah Hwy near Narbethong.
